Business Consultant Avaloq

We are looking for people who are aware of technology and how it can be best implemented and used, as well as how the challenges that can arise in large critical implementation projects may be ideally addressed by these opportunities. After an initial training period on the AVALOQ core banking application and in project methodology, our consultants will join a project team and work hand in hand with our clients to help them implement the system.

Your main responsibilities

  • Implementation of the AVALOQ core banking system

  • Writing business specifications

  • Enhancing overall concepts

  • Evaluating business impacts

  • Training end-users.

Your qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent in economics, engineering or law.

  • Experience in Business Analysis, Consulting or Engineering

  • A clear understanding of the banking, private banking, retail banking and wealth/asset management user/client community.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a good command of written and spoken English and German.

  • A practical knowledge of relational databases (ideally Oracle) and/or programming are an asset.

  • Knowledge of French, Italian or Spanish is an asset.

Working location requirements

Willingness to work remotely at clients' premises on short and/or long-term projects in Switzerland and abroad (i.e. up to 18 months).
